Sue Booth

Senior Paraplanner

Joined the Financial Services Industry in 1976 and worked at NatWest. Then had a break to look after family.

Joined the Derbyshire Building Society in 1988 starting as Cashier, then progressing to Chief Clerk, Assistant Branch Manager. I then joined the Financial Planning Team as a Financial Adviser. Remained with the rebranded Nationwide Building Society as a Senior Financial Consultant until July 2014.

Joined Belper IFS in July 2014 as a Para Planner working with Kevin Glover as we had worked at The Derbyshire Building Society previously together.

What I like most about my role:
As Senior Paraplanner as it enables me to support both Kevin in his role as Principal of the business and IFA and to also support the other Para Planners as and when required. I can talk to clients and answer any questions and queries that they may have. I love being a “surrogate mum” to Molli the office dog and am looking forward to doing the same of our new office dog Reg once he gets settled in.

Outside of Work:
Main Hobby is reading – mainly crime novels and thrillers. However, I do like a nice meal out accompanied with a nice glass of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc!!

I love holidays in the UK – Whitby in Yorkshire and Northumberland with my partner and our dog Missy.

Pets:
Besides my partner, Missy the dog!

Kids/Grandkids:
I have 2 grown up sons and one granddaughter on the way.
